There is a stranger in the woods; cloaked by the brush
He watches as I ponder the meaning of life
from my terrace, wonder draws from my cigarette
Intuitively, I know he longs to guide me
The earthly stranger does not make his presence known
and the moon in concert hides behind the dark clouds
so not to blow his cover by the glow, but in vain
for, intuitively I feel his presence
A chill runs down my spine causing me to shiver
the soft hairs that make me human stand in gesture
and my heart stops for a moment, though not in fear
for intuitively I know his source is pure
Born of angelic cloth, a sole purpose to guide
though alone and estranged by my ignorance
Silent, watching my ruination in the cold
intuitively, he has known my pain
The rain falls now to offer enlightenment
and shields my heartfelt tears, for now I am ready
after long separation, we will unite in spirit
Intuitively, I call out to him by name
