Today

Today I met me
Face to face,
One on one.

Today I saw who I am
Now
Without being bound by the past.

Today I found
In accepting myself in the current moment
My strength is enough.

Diana is a metaphysical writer of poetry who lives in Boone, NC with her two cats, Garfield and Samantha. She is retired after working 30 years in the North Carolina University system. In addition to her passion of writing, she enjoys crocheting, reading, walking and collecting shells at NC beaches.
