He Loves Us in a Story

He loves us in a story where Love
replaces every line
and matter matters not for it’s
impossible to find
and number is reduced to One and
never writes of time
or space or quark or chaos but
merely of the Kind.

The kind, the kind of Love that
extends without conditions the
ever holy atmosphere changing
not with seasons.
To love and only love is Oneness’
one ambition
and thank we God for Love alone
can with reason be called Reason.

Frank Cavano is a retired physician who writes poetry when moved by powerful feelings, thoughts or images. As he describes it, "Most of what I have written seems to fit in the metaphysical/spiritual/inspirational category."

Frank currently lives in Bluffton, SC with his wife of 44 years, Carol. His sons and their wives have blessed the couple with four granddaughters and a grandson who are the light of their lives.
